Asked to consider the long-term knock-on impacts of the pandemic on the young, many minds will go to the months of school closure, or the diminished opportunities facing those leaving school into a heavily recessed economy. There is also, however, the need to understand the threats posed to the wellbeing and life chances of the very youngest children.
